Hi I actually have a question about Garuda Linux. I am currently a Mac user but will soon be shifting to a cheap linux machine and was contemplating which distro to try. The new Garuda KDE edition is beautiful and since it looks like Mac it will be a little easy for me as I hate the windows layout. But I have heard that Arch is not good for beginners. Can anyone advise me what to do?
I will say try Ubuntu or Debian based system as your first distribution. Get familiarize with Linux in general and then try Arch based System. Garuda Linux is very good but consumes high RAM. I have tried it in the past but still i love and use vanilla Arch.
Can try Garuda i3wm. Very RAM efficient and ultra fast.-
I have myself begun using Garuda on a 4 year old Dell i3-6th gen machine. I think its perfectly fine to use even for a beginner. Plus the community is super helpful.
First of all, why is this thing saying that “Google reCAPTCHA verification failed, please try again later.” There is no ‘reCAPTCHA’ for the “Feel free to contact us by filling the form below:”
Secondly, I had this site open and it randomly redirected me to a fake Symantec Norton page that said that my computer was infected with 5 viruses. I simply used the browser history selection to retrace my steps. My computer does not have a virus. You might want to check your security.
Random redirect may also be possible because of browser jacking on user end. Ran a malware check. Nothing found on website.
Hi , Been reading about Warpinater , well as I use mint , I tried it out with my android tablet . It worked flawlessly . I also tried sending files to another android device on my home network , again it worked perfect . I recommend anyone to try it , very useful with android devices without NFC capability .
Thanks for sharing your feedback, Hugh.
I think it could be from ad services on the website. Same problem occur for me.
